barcelonageek is an independent publication based in Barcelona. We write niche travel guides for specific people and earn a commission when you book through our partner links. Your price is the same.

Who runs it

The publication is operated from Barcelona; the responsible person is named in our aviso legal. We publish under an editorial-team byline rather than a personal one so the work can scale across cities while accountability stays with the publication.

How the content is made

We use AI tools to draft and translate pages, with human review before anything is published. Product details, prices, and ratings come from partner APIs (Viator, GetYourGuide); anything still using prototype placeholder data is labelled as such on the page.

How we make money

Affiliate commission on bookings made through our Viator and GetYourGuide links. We are not paid by tour operators to feature them, and we link the operator-direct option even when it earns us nothing.
